Diversity Development in the 21st Century

  • Developing an understanding of key terms for having a meaningful dialogue about the diversity of “differences’'.
  • Equipping participants to understand the impact of racism and transform their diversity of differences into assets that create shared impact.
  • Building communication skills to have meaningful dialogue.
  • Using a collaborative process and engagement skills to build shared benefit.

Kolloh W. Nimley


Kolloh came to the United States as a Lutheran Leader scholar through the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. She graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1998. She holds a Master of International Relations with a focus in health care policy degree from the University of Oklahoma, Norman. She is currently working toward a Ph. D in Health care Administration at Franklin University. Most recently, Ms. Nimley founded the Kansas Cross-cultural Collaborative to create a safe space for discussion and learning that empowers participants to understand, value, and capitalize on the visible differences we share while deploying the cultural agility for a healthy and thriving community.
