    The City of Manhattan, Kansas is seeking well qualified applicants for the position of HR Technician I/II for Employment and Classification Category.

    Reports to:  Director of Human Resources and Risk Management                

    Open Until Filled.

    This position will start on January 13, 2019 or later.

    (Regular, Full-time, Non-exempt)       
    Starting Salary:   Pay range starts at $38,667.20 DOQ

    This position, under supervision or general supervision, provides a variety of confidential administrative, paraprofessional and technical support for services and programs in Employment and Classification to assist with salary and benefit changes; data input of personnel transactions; administer performance evaluation program and calculate salary increases; process FMLA and Shared Leave Requests; assist in maintaining classification and compensation plan data; and process terminations.  Prefer candidates with one year Employment or Compensation experience.  High attention to detail must be exhibited in application process to be considered.
