The Recruiter is an integral part of driving the on-going sustainable growth of the business in partnership with our business leaders. This role is responsible for full cycle recruitment including advertisements, phone screening, sourcing, and interview ideal candidates for open position. The recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to understand the expectations of the role. In addition, this role will use analytics to ensure recruitment efforts are pointed and effective.

What we will expect you to do...

  • Ensure the talent needs of CivicPlus are consistently met in a proactive, innovative and highly-efficient manner that supports the organizations strategy and operational plans, ensure a reliable, high-quality pipeline of top talent, and produces the highest level of customer services, credibility, satisfaction, and support of the brand of CivicPlus
  • Partners closely with leaders at all levels to select and hire diverse top talent, from assessing a role and building a position description to sourcing, selection and offer, and on-boarding
  • Assists with the pre-employment screenings, assessments and on-boarding process to ensure a seamless transition from pre to post hire status
  • Ownership of achieving staffing/hiring objectives by building and strengthening the talent network, our employment brand and creating a great candidate experience.
  • Develop, plan and execute passive and active sourcing strategies determining appropriate places to post opportunities such as job boards, social media, and search firms.
  • Develops successful content marketing initiatives in all stages, from planning to execution and measurement (website, email, blogs, advertising, videos, infographics)
  • Develop networking and referral base with community organizations, agencies, and schools to enhance our image, to include leading all college recruitment efforts
  • Manage candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring compliance with regulations

What you will likely need to succeed...

  • The ideal candidate will have:

o   A passion for creative candidate sourcing, forward-thinking advertising and creating the ultimate candidate experience

o   Proven success working in high volume, multi-faceted environment(s) managing multiple projects that require exceptional customer service, proactive strategic decision making, critical thinking and attention to detail

o   Strong interpersonal and networking skills

o   Ability to self-motivate and work independently

o   Demonstrated problem solving skills, including the ability to offer out-of-the-box and creative solutions to recruiting challenges

  • Other requirements include:

o   High School diploma required

o   3+ years of experience in a like-minded recruiting environment highly preferred

o   Knowledge of federal and state employment laws

o   Strong interpersonal and networking skills

o   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

o   Proven proficiency with a diverse sourcing toolkit that includes job boards, search engines, niche sites, LinkedIn and other social media, passive lead generation, etc.
